We know that attending large professional development events can come with costs for registration, travel, and lodging. To help make ACPA27 more accessible for those who don’t have access to funding, we’ve gathered available scholarship and financial assistance opportunities in one place, making the application process easier for you.
This page will be updated as new opportunities are announced, so check back frequently for additional ways to receive support for your ACPA27 experience.
Coalition of Sexuality & Gender Identities QTPOC Scholarship Applications
Due: 18 November
The QTPOC Scholarship was established in 2017 to provide scholarships for ACPA members who identify as a queer and/or transgender person of color, so that they may attend the Annual Convention as part of the Coalition for Sexuality and Gender Identities (CSGI) commitment to the Strategic Imperative for Racial Justice and Decolonization. The scholarship is the coalition’s effort to operationalize equity for folks at the intersections of systems of oppression. The scholarship will cover the member rate registration cost for one recipient at the regular or early rate. This scholarship is to be administered by the Development area.
